Engine Over-Speed Condition
Description
Engine started, and the ECM determined the vehicle had been driven in a manner that caused the engine to over-speed, and to exceed the engine speed calibration limit stored in memory.
Cause and Solution
Engine operated in the wrong transmission gear position
Excessive engine speed with gear selector in Neutral position
