Crankshaft Position 58X Sensor Circuit Low Input
Description
DTC P0341 and P0342 not set, engine started, and the PCM did not detect any Crankshaft Position (CKP) 58X sensor pulses present between two (2) CMP sensor pulses, or it did not detect any CKP sensor pulses within 8 CMP sensor pulses during the CCM test.
Cause and Solution
CKP sensor 58X signal circuit is open or shorted to ground
CKP sensor ground circuit is open or has high resistance
CKP sensor power circuit is open between the sensor and PCM
CKP sensor is damaged, or the reluctor wheel is damaged
