Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Low Input
Description
Engine started, and PCM did not detect a Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor pulse at least once for every six (6) rotations of the crankshaft in a 10 second period during the CCM test.
Cause and Solution
CMP sensor signal circuit is open
CMP sensor signal circuit is shorted to ground
CMP sensor power circuit open between the sensor and PCM
CMP sensor ground circuit is open
