Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor A Circuit
Description
The transaxle control module (TCM) uses the transmission fluid temperature (TFT) sensor to continuously monitor its temperature. This DTC indicates the concern in TFT sensor or circuit.
Cause and Solution
TFT sensor signal circuit is open or shorted to ground
TFT sensor signal circuit is shorted to VREF or system power
TFT sensor is damaged or has failed
