EGR Pintle Position Sensor Circuit Low Input
Description
Key on or engine running; system voltage from 11-16v, IAT sensor more than 140ºF, and the PCM detected the EGR position sensor indicated less than 0.10v for 10 seconds during the CCM test.
Cause and Solution
Linear EGR valve control circuit is shorted to ground
EGR valve is stuck partially open during the initial startup test
EGR valve is damaged, or has excessive carbon buildup
