Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve Position Sensor Circuit High Voltage
Description
Wth the engine running the execution time is continuous and the duration time is 2 seconds or more. The EGR valve position sensor output voltage is 4.88 V or more for at least 2 seconds. NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot.
Cause and Solution
Poor connections or loose terminals at the EGR valve and the PCM
Open circuit between the EGR valve and the PCM
PCM may need to be updated with the latest software
