Engine Torque Monitoring Control Limit Exceeded
Description
Engine cold, battery voltage at least 11.5v, all electrical components off, ground connections between engine and chassis well connected, the ECM detected a signal beyond the required limit.
Cause and Solution
Engine Control Module (ECM) has failed
Voltage supply for Engine Control Module (ECM) is shorted
Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor is faulty
Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor is faulty
Intake Manifold Runner Position Sensor is faulty
Intake system for leaks (false air) is faulty
Motor for intake flap is faulty
