Fuel Tank Pressure (FTP) Sensor Circuit Low Voltage
Description
Elapsed time after starting the engine is 2 seconds at idle. The execution time is once per driving cycle and the duration time is 3 seconds or more. The output from the fuel tank pressure sensor is less than -7 kPa (-2.1 in. Hg, -55 mmHg) for at least 3 seconds. NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot.
Cause and Solution
Poor connections or loose terminals at the FTP sensor and the PCM
Open or Short in the wire(s) between the PCM and the FTP sensor
