Tank Ventilation Valve Circuit Malfunction Conditions
Description
Key on or engine running; and the ECM detected a too high or too low voltage level in the tank ventilation valve circuit.
Cause and Solution
EVAP canister purge regulator valve has failed
Activation wire is shorting to positive
EVAP canister system has an improper or broken seal
Evaporative Emission (EVAP) canister purge regulator valve 1 is faulty
Leak Detection Pump (LDP) is faulty
Fuel filler cap is not properly closed
Lock ring on fuel pump not tightened
Hoses between EVAP canister and purge regulator valve have failed
