Evaporative Emission (EVAP) System Low Purge Flow Detected
Description
The execution time is once per driving cycle and P145C is judged as NG. Enable conditions are low load duration time 10 seconds, Wait for 10 seconds after the ignition switch is turned to LOCK (0) and Engine coolant temperature before EVAP purge control starts is 140 ºF (60 ºC). The output from the fuel tank pressure sensor is 0.2 kPa (0.07 in. Hg, 2 mmHg) or less for at least 10 seconds. NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot.
Cause and Solution
Faulty or Loose fuel fill cap
Poor connections or loose terminals at the FTP sensor, the EVAP canister purge valve, the EVAP canister vent shut valve, and the PCM
Blockage in the vacuum hose between the EVAP canister purge valve and the EVAP canister
