Idle Speed Control System
Description
DTC P1519 not set, engine started, engine running at hot idle, and the PCM detected the Actual idle speed and the Target idle speed were too far apart during the CCM Rationality test.
Cause and Solution
IAC valve circuit open, shorted to ground or to power (B+)
IAC valve is damaged or has failed
Fast idle thermo valve is damaged or has failed (some models)
Throttle body is dirty or full of sludge (clean and then retest)
PCM has failed
