Description
The engine is running in a closed loop at a stable engine speed, and the DME detected the lean or rich fuel trim correction valve was more than or less than a calibrated limit. The fuel system status is in a closed loop.
Cause and Solution
Air leaks after the MAF sensor, or leaks in the PCV system
Exhaust leaks before or near where the HO2S is mounted
Fuel injector(s) restricted or not supplying enough fuel
