Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Power Source Circuit Unexpected Voltage
Description
The PCM operates for at least 5 seconds after the ignition switch is turned to LOCK (0). Battery voltage 10.1 volts. (IGP terminal of PCM) NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot.
Cause and Solution
Faulty PGM-FI main relay 1
Poor connections or loose terminals under-hood fuse relay box (PGM-FI main relay 1) and the fuse in the under-hood fuse relay box and the PCM
Short to power in the wire between the PCM and under-hood fuse relay box (PGM-FI main relay 1)
PCM may need to be updated with the latest software
