Misfire Detected with Low Fuel
Description
Engine running under positive torque conditions, and the DME detected a misfire or uneven engine function. Note: If the misfire is severe, the MIL will flash on off on the 1st trip!
Cause and Solution
Air leak in the intake manifold, or in the EGR or DME system
Base engine mechanical problem
Fuel delivery component problem (i. e. , a contaminated, dirty or sticking fuel injector)
Fuel pump relay defective
