Knock Sensor 2 Signal Low Input
Description
Engine started, vehicle driven, and the DME detected the Knock Sensor 1 (KS1) signal was too low or not recognized by the DME
Cause and Solution
Knock sensor circuit is open
Knock sensor is loose (tighten to 20 NM)
Contact between the knock sensor and cylinder block is dirty, corroded or greasy
Knock sensor circuit is shorted to ground, or shorted to power
