DME Read Only Memory (ROM) Test Error
DME Read Only Memory (ROM) Test Error
Description
Key on, and the DME detected a ROM test error (ROM inside DME is corrupted). The DME is normally replaced if this code has set.
Cause and Solution
An attempt was made to change the module calibration, or a module programming error may have occurred
Clear the trouble codes and then check for this trouble code. If it resets, the DME has failed and needs replacement.
