Transmission Speed Shaft Sensor Signal Intermittent

Description

Engine started, vehicle speed sensor indicating over 1 mph, and the DME detected an intermittent loss of TSS signals (i. e. , the TSS signals were erratic, irregular or missing).

Cause and Solution

TSS connector is damaged, loose or shorted
TSS signal circuit has an intermittent open condition
TSS signal circuit has an intermittent short to ground condition
