Incorrect Fifth Gear Ratio
Description
Engine started, vehicle operating with 5th Gear commanded on, and the DME detected an incorrect 5th gear ratio during the test. Input speed must be greater than 400rpm, and output speed must be greater than 250rpm for 10ms of continuous time.
Cause and Solution
5th Gear solenoid harness connector not properly seated
5th Gear solenoid signal shorted to ground, or open
5th Gear solenoid wiring harness connector is damaged
5th Gear solenoid is damaged or not properly installed
ATF level is low
