Open in ATF Temperature Sensor Circuit
Description
When the ATF temperature sensor signal voltage to the PCM is above the specification, indicating that the temperature is under the specification (open), a malfunction is detected. The ATF temperature sensor output voltage is 4.93 V or more for at least 10 seconds. NOTE: This code is caused by an electrical circuit problem and cannot be caused by a mechanical problem in the transmission.
Cause and Solution
Poor connections or loose terminals at the ATF temperature sensor and the PCM
Open circuit between PCM connector terminal and the ATF temperature sensor
Faulty ATF temperature sensor or temperature sensor shift solenoid harness
PCM needs to be updated with the latest software
