A T Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Valve A Stuck OFF
Description
When an improper gear ratio is output compared to the predetermined gear ratio, an A T clutch pressure control solenoid valve A OFF failure is detected. One of these symptoms occur: Transmission is held in 1st gear. The engine speed flares when upshifting to 2nd-3rd. The engine speed flares when upshifting to 3rd-4th or 5th if applicable. NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot.
Cause and Solution
Faulty hydraulic system related with shift valve A
Low or dirty transmission fluid
Inspect the strainer for metal debris or excessive clutch material, if present
