Shift Solenoid Valve A Stuck OFF
Description
When an improper gear ratio is output compared to the predetermined gear change mode, a shift solenoid valve A OFF failure is detected and a DTC is stored. The execution time is continuous and the duration time is 2 seconds or more. The transmission is held in 5th gear against the 3rd gear command for at least 2 seconds. NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot.
Cause and Solution
Low or dirty transmission fluid
Faulty shift solenoid valve A
Inspect the strainer for metal debris or excessive clutch material, if present
