Shift Solenoid Valve A Stuck ON
Description
When the wrong transmission fluid switch is turned on for a given speed change mode, a shift solenoid valve turn-on malfunction is detected. The execution time is continuous depending on the driving pattern. The 3rd clutch transmission fluid switch is ON against the 4th-5th gear upshift command for at least 11 seconds. NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot.
Cause and Solution
Low or dirty transmission fluid
Faulty shift solenoid valve A
Inspect the strainer for metal debris or excessive clutch material, if present
