Shift Solenoid Valve B Stuck OFF
Description
When an improper gear ratio is output compared to the predetermined gear change mode, a shift solenoid valve B OFF failure is detected. The transmission is held in 4th gear against the 2nd gear command for at least 2 seconds. The execution time is continuous and the duration time is 2 seconds or more. NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot.
Cause and Solution
Low or dirty transmission fluid
Faulty shift valve B
Inspect the strainer for metal debris or excessive clutch material, if present
