Open in Shift Solenoid Valve A Circuit
Description
The return signal does not match the command to turn OFF shift solenoid valve A for at least 1 second. The execution time is continuous and the duration time is 1 seconds or more. DTCs P0973, P0982, P0983 are not active. NOTE: This code is caused by an electrical circuit problem and cannot be caused by a mechanical problem in the transmission.
Cause and Solution
Poor connections or loose terminals at shift solenoid valve A and the PCM
Open in the wire between PCM connector terminal and the shift solenoid harness connector
Faulty shift solenoid valve A or shift solenoid harness
PCM may need to be updated with the latest software
