Open in Shift Solenoid Valve C Circuit
Description
The return signal does not match the command to turn OFF shift solenoid valve C for at least 1 second. The execution time is continuous and the duration time is 1 seconds or more. Battery voltage is 11 V and DTCs P0976, P0977, P0979 are not active. NOTE: This code is caused by an electrical circuit problem and cannot be caused by a mechanical problem in the transmission.
Cause and Solution
Poor connections or loose terminals at shift solenoid valve C and the PCM
Open circuit between PCM connector terminal and the shift solenoid harness connector
Faulty shift solenoid valve C or shift solenoid harness
PCM needs to be updated with the latest software
