DC-DC Converter Lost Communication with Motor Control Module (MCM) (HYBRID MODELS)
Description
With the ignition ON and the MCM supply-power voltage a minimum of 10.5 V, the serial communication data is not updated for at least 2 seconds. (IMA system indicator is ON) WARNING: The IMA system uses high voltage (144 V), before servicing turn OFF the battery module switch.
Cause and Solution
Poor connections or loose terminals at the DC-DC converter and the MCM Open or Short circuit between the DC-DC converter and the MCM Faulty DC-DC converter MCM may need to be updated with the latest software Faulty MCM
