Description
Engine speed over 1500 rpm in 4th gear in closed loop, then a quick acceleration to WOT, followed by a 5 second deceleration period with the throttle closed, and the PCM detected the A F sensor response time or the R-L or L-R switch rate was too slow.
Cause and Solution
A F sensor may be contaminated or may have failed
Fuel supply system too lean (exhaust leaks in front of the LAF)
Fuel supply system too rich (the fuel filter may be very dirty)
