Camshaft Position Timing Over-Advanced
Description
Engine running, and the PCM detected the Actual valve timing was more than 10-20 degrees advanced for 1 second from the Target valve timing with the engine running at maximum valve timing retard.
Cause and Solution
OCV valve is damaged or has failed OCV spool valve is stuck in the advanced position Variable valve timing actuator is stuck in the retard position Oil runners between oil pressure switch and the OCV, or between the OCV and the VVT actuator are dirty or clogged
