Engine Overspeed Condition
Description
Engine started; vehicle driven and the PCM detected that the engine speed exceeded 7,000 rpm. This code is used to indicate the engine speed exceeded the fuel cutoff limit in gear.
Cause and Solution
This code may set if the transmission is placed in a low gear while driving down a steep grade or traveling at a high speed
