EVAP Purge Solenoid Control Circuit High Input
Description
Engine started; engine speed over 400 rpm, system voltage from 8-18v, and the PCM detected 12v on the EVAP purge valve control circuit with the control driver commanded on for over 50 seconds.
Cause and Solution
Purge solenoid connector is damaged or shorted
Purge solenoid control circuit is shorted to system power (B+)
Purge solenoid valve is damaged or it has failed
