EVAP Vent Solenoid Control Circuit High Input
Description
Engine started; engine speed over 400 rpm, system voltage from 8-18v, and the PCM detected 12v on the EVAP vent valve control circuit with the control driver commanded on for over 50 seconds.
Cause and Solution
Vent solenoid connector is damaged or open
Vent solenoid control circuit is shorted to power
Vent solenoid is damaged or it has failed
