Vehicle Speed Signal Range Performance
Description
Vehicle driven at cruise speed under light to medium load conditions for 10 minutes, and the PCM detected the VSS signal was less than 3 mph for 5 seconds during the CCM test.
Cause and Solution
L R WSS positive (+) signal circuit is open or shorted to ground
L R WSS positive (-) signal circuit is open or shorted to ground
L R WSS is damaged or it failed (check for WSS trouble codes)
