Engine Speed Signal Circuit Malfunction (4L30-E)
Description
Engine started, and the PCM detected the engine speed signal was too low, too high, or the speed signal was unreliable for 4 seconds. Engine speed information is sent to the TCM by the PCM through the Controller Area Network or CAN. Two circuits are used
Cause and Solution
Check for CAN network codes (i. e. , U2100, 2104, 2105, 2108)
