Lock-Up Solenoid SLU. Signal Too High Or Low
Description
Lock-up solenoid SL controls the transmission lock-up function. Solenoid SLU operates when it receives voltage from the transmission control module (TCM) and is activated under different driving conditions depending on road speed, throttle position and the driving mode selected. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) TCM-010D is stored if the transmission control module (TCM) registers a short-circuit to supply voltage in the solenoid SLU circuit when the solenoid should not be activated. Solenoid SLU is probably activated permanently.
Cause and Solution
Short-circuit to supply voltage in the signal cable.Defective control module.
