Damper Motor Temperature Driver, Faulty Signal
Description
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECC-311 is stored if the control module detects that the voltage across both cables to the damper motor is below approximately 0.5 V when the motor is activated or exceeds approximately 4 V when the motor is not activated.
Cause and Solution
Short-circuit to ground or supply voltage in the control signal cable.Open-circuit in the control signal cable.Contact resistance in terminals.Defective damper motor.
