Description
Ignition switch ON (II), battery voltage minimum of 6 volts and DTCs P0122, P0123, P0222, P0223, P2118, P2122, P2123, P2127, P2128,P2135, P2138, P2176 are not active. Difference between throttle valve target position and actual throttle valve position, 4-6 º or more. The execution time is continuous and the duration time is 250-500 milliseconds or more. NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot.
Cause and Solution
Dirty throttle body
Poor connections or loose terminals at the throttle body and the PCM
Open circuit between the throttle body and the PCM
Faulty throttle body
PCM needs to be updated with the latest software
