APP Sensor A or 1 (TP Sensor D) Circuit Low Voltage (Includes Hybrid Models)
Description
With the ignition switch ON (II) the APP sensor A output voltage is 0.2 V or less for at least 200 milliseconds. The execution time is continuous. DTC P2123 is not active. NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot.
Cause and Solution
Poor connections or loose terminals at APP sensor A and the PCM
Open or Short circuit between the PCM and APP sensor A
Faulty APP sensor
Faulty accelerator pedal module
PCM needs to be updated with the latest software
