Description
The traffic message channel module (TMC) continuously monitors the signal from the antenna amplifier. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the traffic message channel module (TMC) registers an open-circuit in the wiring from the antenna amplifier. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the traffic message channel module (TMC) is activated.
Cause and Solution
Open-circuit in the wiring between the antenna amplifier and the traffic message channel module (TMC)Damaged antenna amplifierContact resistance and or oxidation.
