Rocker Arm Oil Pressure Switch Circuit Low Voltage
Description
When the engine rpm is 4,300 (High lift cam operation) the rocker arm oil control solenoid is ON, the rocker arm oil pressure switch remains ON. NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot.
Cause and Solution
Low engine oil level
Low oil pressure
Poor connections or loose terminals at the rocker arm oil pressure switch, the rocker arm oil control solenoid, and the PCM
Short circuit between the PCM and the rocker arm oil pressure switch
Faulty rocker arm oil pressure switch
Faulty rocker arm oil control solenoid
