Description
The control module continually supplies necessary information from the Central electronic module (CEM) via CAN communication. The control module checks the communication with the Central electronic module (CEM). The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that: No communication with the Central electronic module (CEM). Incorrect value lasts longer than 5 seconds. The control modules test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of: Starting the control modules CAN communication. Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Cause and Solution
Disruption or intermittent open-circuit on the Control area network (CAN).Contact resistance, oxidation or open-circuit in the terminals.
