Throttle Actuator Control Module Relay Malfunction
Description
The serial signal is input from the throttle actuator control module for at least 2 seconds after the throttle actuator control module relay is turned OFF. NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot.
Cause and Solution
Poor connections or loose terminals at the throttle actuator control module relay, the throttle actuator control module, and the PCM
Faulty throttle actuator control module relay
Short circuit between the throttle actuator control module relay and the PCM
PCM may need to be updated with the latest software
