Cause and Solution

The TCCM senses a low voltage return on the Motor Control A or Motor Control B circuits when a high voltage is expected.ORThe TCCM senses a high voltage return on the Motor Control A or Motor Control B circuits when a low voltage is expected.The fault must remain current for 30 seconds.The transfer case shift control module (TCCM) has a predefined range of 0.0-5.0 V in which the encoder feed back should stay within, 0.5-4.5 volts. The DTC sets if the encoder signal feed back falls out of this range.
