F-CAN Malfunction (Gauge Control Module-Motor Control Module (MCM)) (HYBRID MODELS)
Description
With the ignition ON a minimum of 3 seconds and battery voltage a minimum of 10.2 V, no signals from the gauge control module via the can lines are received for at least 1.0 second, or received data is abnormal at least 25 counts. (IMA system indicator is ON)
Cause and Solution
Blown fuse Poor connections or loose terminals at the MCM Open or Short circuit between the gauge control module and the MCM Open in the ground wire Faulty gauge control module
