Description

The Trailer module (TRM) checks its own system voltage by comparing the direct voltage with the system voltage in Central electronic module (CEM). The information about the system voltage in Central electronic module (CEM) is sent via CAN to Trailer module (TRM). The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that: The system voltage differs by more than 2.0 V. Incorrect value runs longer than 1 second. The control modules test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of: Starting the control modules CAN communication. Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
