F-CAN Malfunction (Powertrain Control Module (PCM)-ABS)
Description
With the ignition switch ON for at least 3 seconds and battery voltage at a minimum of 10.0 V, one of the following conditions must be met. Condition 1: The PCM does not receive any signals via the F-CAN lines for at least 1 second. Condition 2: The information sent from the ABS modulator-control unit is abnormal at least 20 times.
Cause and Solution
Poor connections or loose terminals at the ABS modulator-control unit and the PCM Open circuit between the PCM and the ABS modulator-control unit Faulty ABS modulator-control unit
