Description
DTC P0502 not set, engine started, vehicle driven to a speed of over 30 mph for 60 seconds, calculated airflow less than 30 g sec, and the PCM detected the IAT sensor was less than 17.6ºF in the test.
Cause and Solution
IAT sensor signal circuit is shorted to VREF
IAT sensor signal circuit is shorted to system power (B+)
IAT sensor signal circuit is open
IAT sensor is damaged or has failed
