Ignition Control B Circuit Malfunction
Description
Engine started, engine running, and the PCM detected the time of the fault fall occurrence was more than the time of the EST fall occurrence, or the EST fault occurred on the falling edge. Note: This code sets if 40 faults occur within 80 test cycles.
Cause and Solution
Coil B primary circuit is open or shorted to ground
Coil B power circuit is open (check power from the FF16 fuse)
Coil B is damaged or has failed
IC control circuit is open, shorted to ground or shorted to power
