EGR Pintle Position Sensor High Input
Description
Engine started, engine running, system voltage from 11-16v, and the PCM detected the EGR pintle position sensor indicated more than 4.90v (Scan Tool reads 250 counts) for 10 seconds during the test.
Cause and Solution
EGR Linear valve control circuit is open or shorted to VREF
EGR Linear valve is stuck in open position (check for icing)
EGR Linear valve is damaged or has failed
