EVAP Vent Solenoid Circuit Malfunction
Description
Engine started, engine runtime over 5 seconds, system voltage over 10.0v, and the PCM detected the Actual state and the Commanded state of the EVAP Vent solenoid control circuit did not match.
Cause and Solution
Vent solenoid control circuit is open or shorted to ground
Vent solenoid control circuit is shorted to system power
Vent solenoid power circuit is open (check the F14 fuse in I P)
Vent solenoid is damaged or has failed
