Brake Switch Circuit High Input
Description
Engine running with vehicle speed less than 5 mph, the vehicle speed changed to 5-20 mph for 4 seconds, then with the vehicle speed more than 20 mph, the PCM detected the Brake switch status was high (i. e. , the brake switch did not change status).
Cause and Solution
A T brake switch signal circuit is open (check power from fuse)
A T brake switch signal circuit is shorted to ground
A T brake switch power circuit is open (check fuse EF 24)
A T brake switch is out-of-adjustment or damaged
